HVAC Apprentice
What Is the role?
We are looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice who will support our installation and service teams. You will be learning the HVAC trade while assisting experienced technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. You’ll be developing crucial skills in what is arguably the best entry point into our family-owned company.
About you
We are especially interested in finding apprentices with mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn (e.g. basic electrical knowledge, hand tools proficiency, customer service mindset). You might not have experience with HVAC systems yet, but you are motivated to learn deeply. You will get the opportunity to work with various equipment types with experienced team members who will mentor and guide your professional development. You care about workmanship, attention to detail, safety protocols, and continuous improvement. Above all, you seek to build a strong foundation of knowledge and apply the best practices possible. Not everything that you learn will come easily, but you make sure that you always understand the fundamentals.
Your Role
As an HVAC Apprentice, you will:
- Assist senior technicians with installations and repairs;
- Be responsible for proper tool and equipment handling;
- Use commercially reasonable efforts to learn and apply HVAC principles; and
- Adhere to all company policies and applicable safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Help with equipment installation and component assembly.
- Assist in system maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare job sites and clean up after completion.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Requirements
We are looking for an apprentice with a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical school training is preferred but not required. Must have basic mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and reliable transportation.
